Immerse your senses for a full body experience while being in gratitude for the process of how food gets to you. We will go through postures that can aid in digestion and learn more about how to be mindful when choosing, chewing, and consuming. You’ll take home a mason jar salad you prepared during your time in the workshop!
We will cover mindful eating tips, including paying attention to hunger cues, thinking about where your food comes from, reducing multitasking when eating, breathing and chewing purposefully, eating to enjoy food, reflecting on how you feel before, during, and after eating, honoring your body, connection between gut and overall health.
The seminar is at noon on Saturday, Aug. 27. The cost is $30 for members, $40 for non-members.
