Hi, my name is Erin and I am not crafty. I was a business major who hates the idea of getting dirty. This also involves all things that use glue, glitter and paint with my children. Of course the Gods have blessed me with little girls who love all things messy and colorful. As the holidays approach, I see these over-achieving Moms on Facebook sewing ornaments and making Popsicle reindeer and I know that it’s an area that I’m definitely lacking in the parenting department.
In order to fill this void, I do what any other “Smarty Mom” would do… I enroll them in classes at Small Hands Big Art! The winter classes and workshops that they offer would make any Pinterest Board jealous. As always the projects that they bring home are prize-worthy and become yearly Christmas décor in our home. Or if you have that Grandma that wants nothing more than a homemade gift from the grandchildren, then look not further. These little items they bring home are so precious they are sure to put a tear in Grandma’s eyes.
My advice this December? Get in these classes at SHBA before they fill up, because they will. Can’t attend one of the camps? Check out the amazing blogs from the owner of Small Hands Big Art, Jennifer Bryant. She has super cool blogs that walk you through projects you can do with your little ones in all shapes and sizes.
Here is just a sample the classes that are offered this month at Small Hands Big Art but check the website for the full listing of classes.
Classes average $35 and offer a 10% sibling discount.
