I love it when friends share their tips and tricks for daily life. It makes life easier if someone can “curate” for you instead of having to sift through miles of internet to find something. A few weeks back, I shared my fave Etsy shops. I hope you get some mileage out of them!
Today, I bring you my favorite blogs.
Each gal shows a bit of her personality in her blog so you really “get to know them”, virtually. They are always bringing me outfit inspiration, a recipe, or a DIY idea.
Thank you Chassity, Rach, Lisa, Vani, Julia, and Sidney! I heart y’all!
Look, Linger, Love – Her name is Chassity and she lives in Charleston and I love her. Her posts are short and sweet and it might be about an outfit, a tablescape, a pair of shoes, etc. I’m trying to limit my shopping and find creative ways to mix up what I already have in my closet so she helps me do this. I’m a visual person so seeing a pic helps me bring a look to life.
Pink Peonies – I’ve gotten great outfit inspo from this blogger, Rachel Purcell. She has helped me pull together things in my closet that I never would’ve thought of on my own. Her blog is mostly fashion and clothes and she is the queen of accessorizing.
Well + Good – They used to be branded Well+Good NYC however it seems they must be expanding to other cities because now it’s just Well+Good. Lots of their content is not specific to NYC. They always have interesting takes on fitness subjects such as “does cycling make your thighs big” and “the 5 best and worst nutrition bars“.
100 Days of Real Food – Lisa Leake runs this one and she is local! I subscribe to her email and facebook posts and I have gotten countless recipes and school lunch ideas. School lunches are my nemesis! Side note: Team Smarty just went to Lisa’s launch party for her new cookbook and y’all need to order yourself a copy – AMAZING!
Food Babe – The food topics she writes about always make me think and anytime I can get my brain to flex, that is a good thing. I mean “There Might Be Dead Animal Parts in Your V8 Juice!” … wwwwwhhhhhhaaaaatttt?
Pawley’s Island Posh – Julia Ryan is a mother, wife, blogger, artist, photographer, interior designer, and SAHM who is recently re-entering the out-of-home working world. She doesn’t live in PI any longer however it holds a place in her heart and is reflected in her style. She is so fun and so real.
Eclectic Charleston – Sidney Wagner is an interior designer who also owns the shop “Eclectic” which is in Mount Pleasant. Fun, fresh, and hip – love her.
