Time may be running out to register for summer camps across the region, but local families still have time to register for Matthews Playhouse Summer Performing Arts Camps thanks to new sessions that have been added.
Already one of the the largest summer performing arts camps in the region, serving more than 1000 children each year since launching in 1995. To keep up with every growing demand, the theatre has added new sessions to its 2023 summer camp roster and plans to expand to new locations.
For the first time this summer, children can attend Matthews Playhouse Summer Camp in neighboring communities like Indian Trail.
“We are on a mission to extend opportunities to students of all ages and backgrounds in a fun and supportive atmosphere regardless of where they live,” said Matthews Playhouse Executive Director Sarah Baumgardner.
