Smarty Giveaway: Family 4-pack to Jurassic Encounter at Ballantyne’s Backyard

Got the kids out of school for Thanksgiving break and looking for something fun to do? We’ve got you covered, Smarties! We are giving away a Family 4-pack to Jurassic Encounter at Ballantyne’s Backyard (details below!)

This is a chance for your dinosaur-loving kiddos to get up close and personal with more than 50 life-size animatronic and static dinosaurs in a walking tour at The Jurassic Encounter. It’s going on Wednesday through Sunday.

Hours

Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Thursday (Thanksgiving); 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Sunday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the large and in charge T-Rex, mighty Triceratops and her young, plus dozens of other species.

Tickets are $12 in advance online here and $16 on-site for those aged 2 and up. Walkers can download a Free Educational and Interactive App that they can listen to during the walking tour.

You can also check out the DINO Village that features toys and souvenirs for sale, free photo ops, digging for bones, yard games, baby dinos, food, a bouncy house, and more.

Need something entertaining for the family to do on Thanksgiving Day? Come to Jurassic Encounter for a special event. There’s a Dino Costume Party from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A costume contest will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., and each child 12 or younger wearing a dinosaur costume will receive a free dino action figure.
