Has your child ever expressed an interest in the performing arts? Matthews Playhouse, with its 25-year history of serving children and families in the areas of southern Mecklenburg County and Union County, is again offering a full 10-week season of summer camps for children/teens from 4+ years of age. A review of our camp titles and options (with both full-day and half-day possibilities) gives your child a variety of options from which to choose AND gives you and your family flexibility in the scheduling. There is something for everyone!
Our theatre intensive camps (we offer both an ACTING and MUSICAL THEATRE Intensives) will please older AND more serious theatre students AND our Improv/Sketch Comedy Camp will delight and amuse those children who enjoy spontaneous and comedic opportunities to perform and delight others.
Matthews Playhouse is a “magical place where magic happens each week” this summer as your child (and others) have the opportunity to explore acting, music, movement, creative play, and teamwork!
