We’ve been dancing at Jami Masters School of Dance for over a decade. It is like a second home to us. My favorite time of year is Spring recital season. I love everything about it – the costumes, the music, the choreography and the role models these dancers truly are.
The Senior Solos are hands down my favorite! I love them all and can’t wait for my Isabel to be up there doing her senior solo. Actually, time please stop – I want to savor her high school years:-) Y’all are going to have to bring me a box of tissues because they always make me cry. This year will be extra difficult for me because I’ve watched the seniors dance at every single one of their performances, since they were little tiny dancers!
Maggie and Elizabeth. Elizabeth and Maggie. These two have been lighting up the stage together since they were three years old. And I have had the privilege of watching them grow up dancing at JMSD since preschool.
I’m excited and honored to feature Maggie Goins and Elizabeth Harper, the 2019 Senior JMSD Company dancers. These young women are leaders at their schools and at dance – beautiful, intelligent, athletic and poised. They are prepared to do anything the world has in store for them. I am so proud that year after year, these girls continue to be wonderful role models for the younger dancers who look up to them.
Let’s get to know Maggie and Elizabeth!
