A quality preschool program should help you, the parent, understand and address your child’s needs NOW in order to help him/her prepare for the future. A program should also encourage your child’s curiosity, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well with others so he/she can learn and adapt as the world continues to change (based the National Association for the Education of Young Children).
Through-the-Week School (TTWS) at Myers Park Baptist Church, one of the most established and recognized preschools in Charlotte, offers a quality program through its curriculum, long tenured staff, welcoming community of parents, and convenient location.
The TTWS motto is “We Play to Learn” – we take our motto to heart every single day.
The Toddler/Two Year Old Program provides a safe, nurturing environment so little ones can build the trust necessary to explore the world around them. The daily routine is paced to meet their needs and to encourage the development of self-help skills.
The Preschool Program (Three-Five Year Olds) provides opportunities for preschoolers to ask questions, find answers, develop early math and language skills, and develop social and self-help skills necessary for success in kindergarten and beyond. After School Activities (soccer, dance, Spanish, yoga) are available for this age group through the Cornwell Center, the Wellness Center at MPBC.

Registration for the 2015-2016 school year has begun! Registration applications are available on the website. The registration deadline is February 13, 2015. (All applications must include a $100 application fee.)
Tours will be held on January 13, 28 and February 12. Reservations are not required. Tours begin at 9:15am in the Cornwell Center lounge.
Classes offered for 2015-2016 are as follows. The birthday cut-off for each class is August 31.
Toddlers/(12-24mos) – MW or TTh $260; MWF $300
Twos – TTh $260; MWF $300
Threes – TWTh $310; M-Th 340; M-F $380
Fours – M-Th $350; M-F $395
TK – M-F $450
