Terese Sides and Jen Grenier’s new business has taken off. They are the owners of a Notch Above Design. Stay-at-home moms and friends found a niche business idea and are having a ball fulfilling orders. They design and create by hand high fashion belt buckles, and embellish them with Swarowski Crystals. Each buckle is unique and while they can recreate a design if requested, they love of a one of a kind look.
The business began just this past April when partner Jen gave Terese a buckle as a gift and an idea was born. Terese says people have bought the buckles right off her body. They are sold locally at a local boutique in Cornelius, Sanary Alba Boutique at Ashley Carol Home and Garden. Their designs are also available at an Art Gallery in the Outer Banks, in addition to stores in New Jersey.
The designs are fabulous and I already have a couple of favorites. In addition to the designs on the website, you can order a monogrammed buckle or even pay tribute to your favorite sports team. What a unique gift for a girlfriend! Can’t wait to get mine! The special order time is around 5 days.
