2012-2013 School Open House Season!

‘Tis the Season? No, don’t bust out the holly yet, it’s school Open House season all around Charlotte. If you are anything like me, I am a bit shaken by all of this. Where did summer go? I’m still unpacking my pool bag and all of a sudden I am expected to plan the 2012-2013 school year? Really? Yes, really!

We took some of the pain out the process with the below list. We know there are a ton of wonderful schools in Charlotte and we tried to cover as many as possible. So please, add any schools we may have missed!

Now get out there and educate yourself on all the fabulous schools Charlotte has to offer!

CHARLOTTE-MECKLENBURG SCHOOLS

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) provides academic instruction and support each school day to more than 133,600 students in kindergarten through 12th grade in 178 schools throughout the cities and towns of Mecklenburg County. CHARLOTTE-MECKLENBURG MAGNET SCHOOLS

Any student can apply to a magnet program within CMS. All students who wish to apply for a magnet program must meet any entrance requirements that may exist for the school or magnet program and agree to fulfill program requirements to remain enrolled in the magnet program.
