Does your little bathing beauty have major chlorine build-up with that fluorescent green pool hair? Thank the Lord neon is in, but who wants to sport that in your daughter’s hair?! Fear no more, we have the solution for you. Smarties, meet Circle of Friends George’s Swimmers’ Shampoo. Since its inception, the mission of Circle of Friends products was to create a professional hair, bath, and body line for children, while introducing them to a world of styles and cultures.
The folks at Circle of Friends believe that children deserve products designed for their special hair and bath needs, as well as ones that challenge their active minds. To achieve this goal, they carefully craft each product, using only the highest quality ingredients, such as exotic botanical extracts, natural elements, and enchanting fragrances, and bottle these magical formulas in a playful “kid friendly” package. And Circle of Friends products are always safe and gentle, packed full of vitamins and proteins, and are never tested on animals.
Circle of Friends George’s Swimmers’ Shampoo is a staple in our house. The ocean fresh fragrance is oh-so-yummy. This clarifying shampoo gets out the green caused by minerals, chlorine or product build-up. It works great and of course, is tearless, so kids love it too. Circle of Friends Swimmers’ Shampoo is free of Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates and contains Wheat Proteins, Panthenol, and Botanical and Fruit Extracts of Banana, Kiwi, Guava and Aloe Leaf.
You can find Circle of Friends shampoos online or locally at Doolittle’s in Stonecrest and at both Pigtails & Crewcuts locations.
Other tips to get the green out is to get your child’s hair stripped when he/she gets her summer hair cuts at the salon. This works wonders. And I always keep shampoo in my pool bag, no hanging out with pool hair in this household. Pool does not equal bath:-)

I love this shampoo, it works great on my little toe-head!
While that's great, a cheap and easy solution for those that have kids in the pool all the time… a teaspoon of baking soda, J & J baby shampoo, and enough water to make it liquid enough to lather up. Wash and rinse. If hair is dryand straw like after a summer in the pool, you can blend olive oil and a cucumber together rub on before washing-acts great as an all natural conditioner. My kids love it-they think it's cool to help make it! They are in the pool every day for practice and they are blonde…so we fight the battle regularly…even through the winter!
