It’s summer and along with summer hopefully comes vacations and road trips to see friends and family. Amidst all of the fun that trips can bring, the actual getting there can be tough – from planning your travel around nap time to keeping the kids entertained along the way.
One of our smarty readers told us about a website www.momsminivan.com. This great website is dedicated the art of traveling with kids. It provides games by age – kids, toddlers and babies as well as great travel necessities such a snack trays for carseats and tips for avoiding car sickness. My favorite games listed included car bingo and travel scavenger hunt, but you should check out the website as well as our previous articles on road trips with kids and flying with four kids to find more helpful hints.

Great website. We just made some "cootie catchers". I remember doing these in school. We are putting them in my daughter's goody bags. Great idea!
