Wearing makeup is my ill attempt to appear among the living. I would kill or die to appear rested. I’m on a perpetual mission-quest-hunt for the concealer that can stand up and hide my hideous undereye bags. I’m obsessed. Those nasty dark circles don’t lie. They speak the truth about all of the lost sleep and running raggedness and tail chasing. This must be why the lowly raccoon only comes out at night…so no one can see his big ole undereye bags. I long for perfectly perky eyes glowing in a sea of white and strive to achieve this eternally awake look. I’m too young to be old and too old to be young. I’m officially a Tween…sandwiched between youth and maturity.
Here are the concealers in my makeup bag: Laura Mercier Secret Concealer, Almay Line Smoothing Under-Eye Concealer with SPF 10, Almay Bright Eyes Eye Base + Concealer and Benefit Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer.
I recently read about the self-appointed mother of all concealers, Cle de Peau. Can I (should I?) really spend $70 on effin concealer? I also have my eyes on Dermablend because if it can cover a tatoo, spider vein, scar or stretch mark then my bags should be no problem!
Smarties, puh-lease help me send my bags packing and share your undereye concealer secret!

Touché Éclat by YSL. Magic. It is six hours of sleep eyes when actually you got 3!
I use Mary Kay. It is the only Mary Kay product I use, but I love it!!
Boi-ing by benefit. AMAZING. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P1273
