Mixed Media
Mixed Media art classes are rooted in fine art principles, fused with contemporary trends, & slathered in your child’s individual expression! Simply put, you’ll basically want to drive straight to the frame shop after pick up each week!
Painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, printmaking & more! Classes run in six week sessions and students are welcome to join anytime for a pro-rated fee. Ages 18m-14yrs.

Pottery Classes
Ok, all due respect to those little pinch pot thingys we all loved making as a kid, you’ll be utterly amazed at what your kids are capable of creating in this Pottery Class! Classes are intimate and focused, so students get ample assistance with process & techniques.
Each artist has the excitement of getting their hands dirty while learning sculpting, shaping, and glazing techniques. On average, your child leaves this class with three clay pieces they have hand crafted, glazed, and fired. Finished pieces are available for pick up the week after class ends.

Myers Park Mixed Media Classes
SHBA is now offering Mixed Media classes for 5-9 yr. olds in the Myers Park area!
Classes take place at the Myers Park Presbyterian Outreach & Wellness Center, 1073 Providence Rd., @ the intersection of Providence & Queens Rd. (near the remodeled Harris Teeter)!
