Spring has finally arrived – YAY!!! I absolutely love this time of year. And what better place to appreciate spring than in Charlotte … with all the trees and flowers in bloom … the beautiful Carolina blue skies … and of course this great warm weather! Time to pull out those peep toes and flip flops, ladies … But don’t forget to buff up your feet and polish your piggies!

So I thought I would share my list of faves for getting your toes done – I’m hoping my Smarty friends can add to this list – I’m always up for trying something new! I mainly hit the spots in the Southpark and Mid-town areas, but reached out to some fellow Smarties for a few Ballantyne and LKN faves as well.

They have awesome massage chairs, and plenty of them if you want to grab a few girlfriends to go at once. They do it all … scrub, paraffin, massage … so a pedicure here takes a little longer, but if you’re going for the relaxation benefit, you can’t beat it! They offer you something to drink while you’re there (wine is an option!) and I’ve never come away with a bad pedi. And one of my favorite things is that they are open on Sundays! A plus for this working mom who can never seem to fit everything in on Saturday.

I call this my “quickie” place. Service is fast, the people are friendly, and the decor is chic. The only downside is they do manicures literally, at a bar, while sitting on a bar stool … not so cozy and relaxing. And they don’t two time you and knock out your mani/pedi simultaneously. Since I’m strictly a pedi girl, this isn’t an issue for me.

Thanks for the info. Anybody got the scoop on the pricing at each place? That would be the biggest deciding factor for me.
Polished also just opened a new location in SouthPark in the same shopping center as Cafe Monte and Nitsas. I think it has about 20-something pedicure chairs, so they can handle lots of people at the same time! LOVE IT!!

Millenium Nails is AWESOME! They actually spend time massaging your feet and/or hands — I think its $28 if just getting pedi & $35 or maybe $40 total if doing nails/feet…its worth every dime!
I just went to the new Polished Bar location yesterday to get a basic pedi and it was only $25! I also got my eyebrows done and it was $12…I got both done by Vi (pronounced "vee") and she was absolutely fantastic! Since it's so new, though, I was the only person in there but then again it was Wednesday right after work…. Definitely worth the money and loved the modern decor. 🙂
