Can you believe Thanksgiving is less than a week away? Maybe it’s weird since it was 75 degrees out Wednesday! Plus, it’s a week early this year. Well, that also means it’s time for the Charlotte Thanksgiving Parade . Apparently this is a really big parade and it’s also their 60th anniversary year. I went years ago and have not been since. I guess there is always too much going on with family but this year will be quiet so I plan to head up there. It is Thanksgiving Day at 1pm (good, since it will warm up a bit but bad because it totally conflicts with naptime) I took Claire to the St Patty’s parade in March (she was 19 months) and she loved it. It all happens downtown, the route begins at Tryon at 9th, turns left onto 3rd and ends between Davidson and McDowell on 3rd. Click here to see a map of the route. Want more info? Check out their website. It will also be broadcast live on WBTV. Have you been in the past and have any tips? Please comment!
