Summer may be a few months away but it’s time to start planning your kids’ activities NOW, especially if summer camp is on the agenda. Our Smarty camp partners have the most incredible summer fun in store for your campers. Working moms need to map out every single day of summer long before school gets out. For stay-at-home moms, camp provides enrichment for kids to explore the things they like while giving moms a breather. Regardless of which might apply to you, camp opportunities in Charlotte and surrounding areas are plentiful, but you need to get your game on N-O-W. Charlotte area camps fill up fast! Charlotte Christian School

Charlotte Christian School Summer Camps provide opportunities for children from junior kindergarten through grade 12 and are available beginning June 5. Queens University of Charlotte Athletics Summer Camps

Engage your child in a fun and exciting athletic experience at a premier institution with an outstanding coaching staff.

Queens University of Charlotte Athletics Camps emphasize learning and improve the fundamentals and skills of our sports in a safe environment. Camps are designed for all ages and different skill levels. We offer a full day and half day options and our full day camp includes lunch daily.

At Big Air, we like to make things easy!  No early sign-up, no long term commitment, just BIG FUN! Check out why we are the most flexible camp in CLT! Camp Air at Big Air offers morning sessions, afternoon sessions, all day sessions and full weeks! Registration is easy and can be done up to the day of! Our dedicated Camp Air Team structures the play time, eat time, and activity time that changes each day to keep our campers engaged and excited! Charlotte Ballet

Your child can join Charlotte Ballet this summer for one of their summer programs! With classes offered for dancers ages 3 – 14, children will be provided expert instruction in a nurturing and dynamic environment. Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center

Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center Recreation Summer Camps. Offering full and half Day options Monday through Friday for rising grades K – 12. Our circus & dance camps are recreational, no experience is required. Campers will have instruction in dance, acrobatics, and aerial skills. There will be a short show and tell performance on the last day of camp where campers can show what they have learned, and you can snap a few photos.

Matthews Playhouse

Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts invites children ages 4 and up to embark on an incredible journey of discovery, creativity and fun this summer. The theatre’s annual Summer Camp, which has served tens of thousands of children in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Union County regions since its inception in 1995, offers an exciting array of activities designed to engage and inspire campers ages 4 and up. Summer camp at Matthews Playhouse promises a variety of creative and challenging experiences for youth. With themed camps for ages 4–18 years old, children participate in full or half-day camps during June, July and August and each session culminates with a special on-stage demonstration for friends and family. The cost ranges from $185 to $350 per session. YMCA Camp Harrison
