#GivingTuesdayCLT, powered by SHARE Charlotte, is Charlotte’s local response to Giving Tuesday. Now in its ninth year, #GivingTuesdayCLT is an unprecedented collaboration of hundreds of Charlotte nonprofits as well as corporations, local businesses, community organizations and individuals coming together through good. #GivingTuesdayCLT has helped raise more than $36 million on behalf of Charlotte nonprofits, while inspiring more than 31,000 new donors. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and our world. Created in 2012 as a simple idea – a day that encourages people to come together and do good – it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity each year.

When we come together, we change policies, we impact lives and most of all we ignite a flame of generosity for those around the world to see. Today, Nov. 29, #GivingTuesdayCLT we celebrate generosity and the nonprofits who work tirelessly to make Charlotte better each and every day.
“The Power of WE” is the collective strength of our community to support and uplift each other when we need it most. Today, we encourage you to make a difference in your community by giving time, items, dollars, or advocacy to a local nonprofit.
Today, Nov. 29, our community is invited to visit https://sharecharlotte.org/ to:
1. Give Money: Visitors can make a financial gift to an organization that is meaningful to them
BONUS!! The first 300 donors who give $50 or more to their favorite nonprofit Nov. 29 through sharecharlotte.org will have their donation generously matched by Lowe’s in the form of one $50 electronic gift card!
2. Give Time: Visitors can choose from hundreds of ways to give their time either virtually or in-person.
3. Give Goods: Visitors can shop nonprofits’ Amazon wish lists and give them exactly what they need.
