It’s Labor Day, Smarties, which means fall is about to be in full swing! It also means you’ve got to check and double-check your to-do list and calendar to make sure you’ve got what you’d like scheduled for your kids. If you have a child ages 2-8 especially, and you are looking for an easy and wonderful activity for them, check out Soccer Shots! It’s such an awesome and easygoing way to introduce your child to soccer. Families around Charlotte love Soccer Shots, so slots fill up fast, but there are still spots available at both the public programs and private childcare centers and preschools.

We started our three sons in Soccer Shots when they were 2. It’s truly one of the best developmental programs for young children in Charlotte, and I’m not even talking about the soccer-playing skills they’ll learn. I’m talking about how well children learn to follow directions and interact with others, both children and coaches, while participating in Soccer Shots. I think their program is a great precursor to a preschool classroom and getting children acclimated to an environment where they have to stand on their own two feet.
Here’s a blog I wrote about our Soccer Shots experience last summer
