Smarty Summer Camp Guide 2018: Charlotte Christian School

It’s time to plan some summer fun! Charlotte Christian School has hosted outstanding summer camps for more than 10 years and this season’s line-up promises lots of new adventures in academics, arts, sports, and technology. Opportunities include more than 75 ways for your child to explore new ideas like film production or solving mysteries or further develop a special passion like football, cooking, or computer coding.

Charlotte Christian School Summer Camps provide opportunities for children from junior kindergarten through grade 12. All students from the community are welcome including students from other schools. From sports camps led by Charlotte Christian head coaches in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, lacrosse, soccer, and wrestling to “techy” camps that feature STEM Science and LEGO Robotics – there is something for everyone!

Some new camps this year include Art Studio, Beading for Beginners, Camp Invention, Field Tripping Around Charlotte, Spy Camp, and Star Wars Camp for elementary-aged students. Older kids can participate in Ultimate Nerf Games, Young Innovators Camp or serve locally with Community Cares Camp. Tried and true favorites are also available including the American Girl Doll Camp, Bees Berries & Biscuits, BroPerfect Camp, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and LEGO Maniacs to name a few.

Academic camp opportunities are available in Creative Writing, Latin Grammar and Math Mania. Rising seniors may receive help to get ahead on the college admissions process in College Essay – Prep to Completion.

Camps are scheduled from June 4 – Aug. 6 with morning sessions from 9 a.m. – noon and afternoon sessions from 1 – 4 p.m. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 due by May 12 and then $35 fee after the due date. Extended Care options are available for an extra fee before and after camps or to bridge between morning and afternoon camps. Whether you would like your children to attend camp for one week or for several weeks, there are a variety of camps available that are sure to spark the interest of children who love to learn, play, and explore.
