Christ-centered. College preparatory. Educating the whole child.

Knights Lead: Celebrating more than 65 years of excellence in Christian education,
Charlotte Christian is a Christ-centered, college preparatory, independent, non-denominational school, serving students in grades JK-12. We offer a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for institutions of higher learning and life beyond. Character, values and essential life skills are emphasized and modeled by a professional and dedicated faculty. Our student population of 1,085 reflects a geographical, denominational, racial and ethnic diversity.

Knights Lead
Knights Explore: At Charlotte Christian we teach to the whole child – mind, body, and spirit. Whether trying a new sport or playing on a state championship team; composing a song in a digital music class or winning a National Gold Key in art; taking a field trip downtown or traveling the world during a J-Term excursion, we seek to allow each student to expand their horizons by offering a wide variety of teams, classes, clubs and activities.

Knights Explore

Knights Impact: Charlotte Christian does not simply provide a curriculum which contains a Bible class; we teach students to make sense of the world and their place in it by filtering their learning through God’s Word. Annual retreats, weekly chapels, and special spiritual emphasis days are planned each year for students as a time for renewal and relationship building. The Knights Service Program teaches students the joy of selflessly serving others in the name of Jesus Christ.

Serving kindergartners through 5th graders, CJDS prepares Jewish children for success in both academics and life. Each child excels in a personal, nurturing environment, with small class sizes ideal for differentiated instruction and individualized attention. Latin is a safe place for children to express themselves and learn. Each students at Latin is known as an individual and as a member of our school family.

Relationships are key. Our faculty and staff teach, coach, encourage, support and care for our students.

-Latin partners with parents to provide a moral community that counter-balances contemporary culture. We believe in keeping children appropriately young.

Academic excellence and highly-skilled teachers are the foundation of our school.

We value diversity and inclusion. Latin was the first independent TK-12 school in Charlotte to open integrated.
