Our FAVORITE summer outing is celebrating Opening Day on Memorial Day! The Quarry at Carrigan Farms will open up to the public on Monday to kick off their Open Swim Season of the Summer. Smarties, we kid you not, this is the best kept hidden secret in the Greater Charlotte area. CSP {LOVES} The Quarry!
Located just outside Charlotte in Mooresville, The Quarry is fed by an underground spring and rimmed in rock that rises to 70 feet – it’s absolutely stunning. The water is emerald green and blue with gray granite cliffs and a white, sandy beach – it’s perfect for a family picnic and swimming on a hot Carolina day. What I love about the Quarry is it has no age barriers – kids ages 4 (I recommend this outing if all of your kids can swim) all the way through high school and college will enjoy the Quarry just as much as you do. Your entire fam will enjoy cliff jumping, swimming, lounging, volleyball, and more.

Open Swim Dates/Times for Summer 2017:
On select days and times, The Quarry is open to individuals where you may come and enjoy the quarry.

Memorial Day, May 29, 2017, 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM
Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM
Sunday August 27, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM
Monday, September 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM
Weekly Dates:
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting June 13, 2017 through August 24, 2017, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
Cost:
Cost is $12 per person and cash or check are accepted for payment, but not credit or debit cards.
