CSP Note: For its final blog of 2016, CEENTA wants to share with you a few ways you can use the money in your medical insurance’s Flexible Spending Account.
As 2016 winds down, you’re probably starting to come up with resolutions for the New Year. But one thing you should resolve to do before January 1 is spend any money you may still have if your health insurance includes a Flexible Spending Account. CEENTA is here to help you with that, with three great ways you can use your FSA dollars.
New glasses: Seeing your friends and family this holiday season should be easy. Also, getting a new pair of glasses and being able to see the world around you every day is a great way to start 2017 on the right foot. This month you can come to any of CEENTA’s 12 optical shops and get 25 percent off a new set of prescription glasses. And before you get new glasses, our eye doctors are available for exams to make sure your prescription is up to date and your eyes are healthy.
New hearing aids: There’s so much to hear during the holidays, and you don’t want to miss any of it. The holidays are also the perfect time to talk to your older relatives about getting hearing aids, since hearing loss can have a major impact on a person’s quality of life. A resolution to start the New Year with restored hearing is a great way for you and your loved ones to maintain your health and emotional happiness. Our physicians and audiologists will work to address your hearing loss and fit you with hearing aids that best suit your communication needs. This December, if you come to any of the 18 CEENTA offices that offer audiology services, you can get 10 percent off hearing aids.
LASIK: If you or a loved one needs vision correction but has decided glasses and contact lenses aren’t for you, you’re in luck. CEENTA also offers refractive surgery like LASIK. LASIK is FDA-approved for patients over the age of 18 and takes less than 10 minutes per eye. Most visits to the TLC Laser Eye Center in CEENTA’s SouthPark location take about two hours. Appointments are still available this month. Consultations with one of CEENTA’s refractive surgeons are required before any treatment can take place. If you wear contact lenses, you generally need to stop wearing them two weeks prior to LASIK surgery.
End 2016 on a good note. Come to CEENTA and let us help you and your family clearly see and hear everything 2017 will bring us. It just makes sense.
