The holidays are over, the blizzard is upon us, what’s a Smarty Mom to do but organize her house?! Seriously, it takes a blizzard lock-down to get me in that mode, but that’s exactly what I did this snOMG2K16! And I have the perfect consignment sale for you – the Harris YMCA Kids Konsignment Sale on February 27th.
The Harris YMCA Kids Konsignment Sale has been THE consignment sale to sell and shop with since I first became a mom 14 years ago (gulp!). Whether you consign or you just want to shop, this is the best one in SouthPark.
So here’s the Smarty Scoop on the Harris YMCA Kids Konsignment Sale:
–Consignors receive 60% (Minus $7 for expenses). Huge in my opinion. If you have a teen like me, have her do all the work and she can keep the ca$h. Lord knows mine needs it to fuel her fashionista wardrobe.
–All proceeds from the Harris YMCA’s Consignment Sale support their Annual Campaign, which provides the support necessary to offer programs that address Y communities most pressing needs. At the Harris and Harris Express YMCAs, they believe that every day offers opportunities to shape our community’s future. Opportunities like closing the academic achievement gap, decreasing barriers to health and creating access for all. –There is a Preview Sale for Volunteers and Consignors. Major perk. You get to shop the good stuff before everyone else.

–What to expect & Smarty tips?
Streamlined curbside drop off. Volunteers will remove everything for your car and take it inside. Just pull up under the BIG white tent, no worries of items getting wet if weather is bad.
Organized, easy item pick-up for items NOT being donated. Sun, FEB 28 | 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
Clothes MUST be clean, no stains, missing buttons, broken zippers or rips. Clothes must be securely fastened on hangers and two-piece sets must be pinned together. Shoes and socks should be organized in Ziploc bags. One pair of shoes per bag. Toys, baby equipment and games need to be clean, in working order and with all parts secure.
All items must be priced through the website and tagged prior to delivery. Use heavy cardstock paper. Items that are not priced through the website will be refused. Do not tape over barcodes. For clothes, use a safety pin to attach tags to ensure they don’t fall off. Use clear tape for bags, toys, baby equipment and games.
