My girls, ages 6 and 8, just completed their lessons at Charlotte Swim Academy (CSA). It was a fabulous seven weeks for us!! When they started at CSA, I had a few goals in mind. I wanted them to always feel comfortable in the water, to learn proper stroke & kicking instruction, to learn how to breathe correctly, and to become more confident swimmers overall. (Yes, I had high hopes) I can honestly say all of my expectations were met and exceeded. We ended the lessons, with pretty strokes, good breathing, and some successful dives! My girls also saw the change in their abilities giving them more confidence in the pool.
I believe our success was a result of a two key things that CSA does so well:
1. One-on-one instruction, At CSA, it is truly the best way to learn. Each student is taught to his or her ability and pushed only to where he or she needs to be going. It just works!
2. Amazing instructors. The instructors we had were just lovely. They were polite, friendly, dedicated, fun and very well trained. I love to see this type of quality of work in young people! After many years of sales, you can tell when someone is well-trained and well-versed…. and these ladies were both! Martha Sue Crowley, founder and director of CSA, knows how to give quality swim lessons year after year.
Here’s a pic of how my girls felt about swim lessons. They give it two thumbs up!!
Also we didn’t want to forget our wonderful instructors. Thank you, Aliska and Chloe.
So what to do now? Charlotte Swim Academy has Summer Sessions still available, and they just opened up their Fall Schedule. I want my children to continue their progress and learn more so we hope to stay in the pool. As crazy as it is, sign ups are beginning for a lot of fall activities so make sure you don’t overlook swim lessons! The skills children learn in swimming are so valuable and can be used for the rest of their lives. Swimming is great exercise for your kiddos, too. So consider signing up for the fall for lessons at Charlotte Swim Academy (tell them Charlotte Smarty Pants sent you! :-). I know I am!
