If you’re familiar with my previous blogs and facebook posts, it’s quite apparent that Lauren Nicole Designs and Lila Home are in full-out Christmas mode! Balsam and cedar scent candles, ornaments, and Christmas wreaths have taken over our retail store for weeks now.
We recently traveled to Greensboro, NC to help prepare a family’s beautiful home for the holiday season. This is the first time we’ve decorated an entire home for Christmas and boy, we are having an absolute blast!!
Deck the Halls
For the mantel, we went with a rustic holiday theme that paired perfectly with the look of home. These antler stocking holders look awesome lined up against the stone fireplace. The sprays of holly berries and acorns add a touch of color to really make the whole mantel “pop”!
What you can’t see in these photos is the mass amount of stairways and banisters. The garland is the same throughout the home to keep everything cohesive. What I love about this type of garland is its large size, sprigs of holly berries and acorns, and matching burlap bows.
The dining room is one of the first rooms guests see as they enter the home. It’s best to keep the table top decor simple and elegant. “Less is more” is the motto! The white glittered mango leaf trees, metallic acorn vase fillers and antlers work great with our rustic chic holiday theme and are gorgeous on top of the dark table.
No home is complete without a Christmas wreath to greet your guests. You can instantly dress up any holiday wreath by adding a large bow or ribbon, which is inexpensive and can be found at your local craft store.
Lastly, here’s a peak at some of our favorite Lila Home decor items that are an easy way to transform your home for Christmas.
I hope this has inspired your inner Christmas elf to start decking the halls! Only 21 days until Christmas!!
