If I must start somewhere, right here and now is the best place imaginable. – Richelle E. Goodrich Green fields.
Sun falling through the trees. The soft neighs of horses as they tell each other secrets in the stable.
These are the sights and sounds of Hinds’ Feet Farm, one of the very few providers of service specifically for brain injury in North Carolina.
On this 41 acre farm in Huntersville, adults living with brain injuries and their families can develop a sense of belonging and learn to adapt to their “new normal.” Hinds’ Feet has both residential and day programs. Through them they work toward their goal of maximizing the post injury potential of persons living with brain injury with integrated, unique and holistic programs.
Interested in getting involved? Hinds’ Feet has some family-friendly and fun ways to plug in! And of course, if you need more information you can visit SHARE Charlotte.
