Smarty Fall Fashion Giveaway #5: Sloan Boutique

If you’re looking for a place to find the PERFECT outfit to make you feel fabulous, your search is over. Sloan boutique is that store. Located off East Blvd. in Dilworth, this swanky local boutique and its sister store located right above it, Sloan Shoes, is a Charlotte gem. It carries some amazing brands – Elizabeth & James, Current Elliott, Alexis, Diane VonFurstenberg, Parker, and Vince and has the most knowledge salespeople in town. They are all about making you feel and look your best.

I recently popped over there in search of an outfit for a “country club casual” function (what IS country club casual?!). Co-owner Jill Pleune (Jill is a recent Smarty Mama – she and her sister, Courtney Sloan, work together to make these two stores as fabulous as they are!) suggested a jumpsuit (and I will listen to any fashion advice Jill gives – she’s my very own Vogue editor in the flesh!! Charlotte is so lucky to have her.). Her awesome salespeople pulled a few for me, I tried them all on, found the winner, and boom. Done. Love that way of shopping. I’m pictured here in it. (I might have bought a couple more things, but shhhhhh…don’t tell the hubs. I dare you to try to walk out of there with just one thing – it’s impossible!)
