A fellow Pure Barre teacher stepped into the studio a couple of months ago wearing this amazing top/tunic – it was effortless, graceful, and just plain pretty. Of course I had to know where it was from. gwenyth. I went online THAT DAY and ordered one for myself. SO glad I did – it’s one of the prettiest workout tops I own (the ballet pink is simply gorgeous). It’s super soft, flattering, versatile, and so unique – love that. Designer Michele Braxton started gwenyth because she was SO sick of neon workout clothes (Amen, sister!) and wanted something feminine and flattering that performed but DIDN’T flatten. It’s inspired by dance, pilates, and barre – the perfect trilogy. She and her partner, an architect by training, have worked tirelessly to refine and improve design after design (she says they’re on version “4.0 – like the iPhone.” :-)). They are constantly looking for ways to improve their product – and their workout. We think they’ve nailed it.

The classic/vintage style of gwenyth will take you from the barre, yoga, pilates, or dance studio to coffee with friends, carpool, and date night. We love it paired with skinny jeans and booties. We LOVE that you can pull it down to cover your seat or up to get a little more room in the middle; we also LOVE that it has two types of removable cups – one for just coverage and one for a little more padding. If you’re looking for a little more support, the tunic has a removable strap that can be added; if you’re looking for a little less support, that same strap can be used as a headband. Genius.

I’ve worn this to teach and take Pure Barre, and I can totally attest to the quality and comfort. You will love this top – for so many reasons!
