Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s award-winning Summer Camps kick-off in June with great offerings for ages 3-18. Half-day and full-day camps are available, one-week and two-week sessions, at ImaginOn and two satellite locations: UNC-Charlotte and Charlotte Latin School. We’re super excited about two Musical Performance Camps this summer for rising 3rd-7th graders.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. – Summer Camp Experience
Two-week camp meets June 10-14 and June 17-21, 8:45am-3:30pm at Charlotte Latin School.
In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice. In this two-week camp students rehearse scenes and songs from the show while rotating through music, art, dance, and drama classes. The camp culminating with a performance of the show on the final Friday. A short audition on the first day places students in appropriate roles.

Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids – Summer Camp Experience
One-week camp meets either June 10-14 or June 17-21, 8:45am-3:30pm at ImaginOn.
The jungle is jumpin’ with jazz is this exciting Disney classic! Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. This one-week camp provides a fun and unique musical theatre experience for rising 3rd-7th grade students. Campers rotate through acting, music, art and dance each day. The week concludes with a performance for family and friends on Friday.
