If there’s one thing you need to know about me it’s this: I am obsessed with fresh food. Fresh produce to be exact. I can’t help it. It’s in my blood. It’s in my genes. It’s what I’ve always known. And now I’m so happy to be doing what I love and believe in the most: bringing fresh, organic produce to Charlotte – my native city. Better yet, we’re bringing it directly to Charlotte’s homes – to your doorsteps.

I say fresh produce and food service is in my genes – it literally is. My grandfather and uncle were both leaders in the food distribution industry in Charlotte for years so I have been immersed in it since I was a kid. In December, 2012 I decided to turn my passion for produce and fresh foods into a business and I started Simply Fresh. I saw a need to supply Charlotteans with 100% organic fruits and vegetables. Home delivery was a no-brainer – it all made perfect sense.

Simply Fresh is a farm-to-table, online farmers’ market specializing in the delivery of fresh local and organic fruits and vegetables directly to your door. Whether it’s your home or your office in Charlotte and the surrounding areas, we deliver the highest quality and freshest products available right where you want them.

In addition to a full line of produce, we have recently added fresh 100% grass fed beef, 100% hormone free pastured (not pasteurized) chicken, 100% hormone and cage free eggs, as well as organic breads (are you drooling yet?!).

All of our products are USDA certified organic. We currently purchase our products from larger farms AND local growers. (Not to bore you with too many details, but many local growers – while they may be farming organically – might not be able to afford the cost to be certified as USDA organic so they cannot label their products as organic.)

People assume that organic + delivery means higher prices. That’s not the case with Simply Fresh. We have low overhead, so we are able to deliver 100% local organic produce to your doorstep AND stay competitive with national organic food supermarkets.

How Simply Fresh works

We offer two ways of shopping: 1. Browse our extensive store and fully customize you order basically the same way you would shop at a grocery store; or, 2. Buy boxes pre-made by us at Simply Fresh.

We offer 3 different categories of pre-made boxes.

1. Fresh Select Box – a variety box composed of seasonally fresh fruits and vegetables. Offered in small, medium, large, and extra large.

2. Juicing Box – all of the ingredients needed for at home juicing. Can be all one veggie, detox, or a combo of fruits and veggies.

3. Kids Pick Box – one of our most popular because it has mainly all fruits that kids love to eat. Comes in medium and large.
