The race is a fundraiser organized by the Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3, non-profit foundation established solely to make a difference in the lives of children and their families affected by pediatric cancer. Our mission is to help find a cure of pediatric cancer. 100 % of the proceeds of the race will go directly to Levine Children’s Hospital for pediatric cancer research. Cancer research at Levine includes phase I and phase II clinical trials for pediatric cancer patients. This is the only facility of its kind in the southeast region.
