My name is Bond….Becca Bond…and oh what a Smarty photographer I consider myself to be! The work I do is a truly custom style of portrait photography. Each session is completely unique and results in one of a kind pieces of art that tells a story. Each session is designed around the personality of your child or family and everything from location to wardrobe is taken into account.
A session normally lasts around an hour to an hour and a half, leaving time for outfit changes, snacks, potty breaks or diaper changes. I get that it is important to not just have the joyous smiles, but the soulful stares, the curious moments and the crazy laughter. Newborn sessions can last up to 3 hours, are always in your family’s home where baby feels most safe and at ease.
What many love best about my work is my “vintage style” of photography. I scour antique stores for vintage children’s clothes, furniture and toys that are often include in client sessions. My style conveys the carefree nostalgia of childhood…warm glowing light, bare feet in the grass, jumping on beds, baking cookies, picking dandelions for mom, secrets that siblings share…my images tell a story about your children, about their amazing little personalities, their little quirks and idiosyncrasies. The studio is located in Charlotte, NC. We are in The Fountains shopping center in South Charlotte. Our studio features a constantly changing print gallery, a workspace for planning and laying out designs, and a comfortable projection viewing area to watch slide shows and discuss your photographic possibilities. We are available for travel world wide and can be commissioned for sessions in Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina coast during the summer months. We are booked approximately 3-4 weeks in advance September – December.
