Rainy days bring many moms to their knees when trying to scramble to find fun activities when their children just have to get out the house or mama’s gonna scream! Aside from the obvious rational to-do list like “must complete summer reading list and math packets”, most fams need a quick fix when that thunderstorm rolls in for the day or even worse and what seems to be a normal occurrence these days, a 100-degree Charlotte heat wave. -Mall play areas: Carolina Place Mall has a Children’s Play Area and Concord Mills seems to be one big play fest. Stop by the Lego Store and your little guys can hang for hours!
-Go to your local library: Or even better, take the Lynx uptown and check out Boogie Woogie Books at Imaginon.

-Try DP’s sister location, the Nature Museum at Freedom Park. Remember, they are closed on Mondays – that seems to get me every time!
-Go old school and take your ‘lil Smarties roller skating at Charlotte Sports Center or Kate’s Skating Center.

I live by the free movie list at Regal you did earlier this year and pull it up weekly to see what movie we can grab one day a week!
