This family friendly event takes you through the beautiful trails of McAlpine Creek Greenway. Refreshments and an atmosphere of community await you at the finish line.
Whether you are a serious runner or looking for an excuse to walk with the kids, come out to support a great cause. We’ll start promptly at 8:30 am for the 3.1 mile run walk to raise awareness and funds for the Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation. Cost is $21 adults, $11 child until March 24.

Peter Rabbit’s Garden Adventure

Peter Rabbit returns to the Garden this year on March 27. The popular story of Peter Rabbit will be the theme at the Garden and guests can enjoy hearing the story, meet characters from his world and participate in children’s activities. A photographer will also be on hand to capture photos of children with live bunnies (additional fee). Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Photo packages available for purchase from Greg Briley Photography starting at $39.95. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at Peter Rabbit Nibbles, provided by Something Classic Catering. The adorable bunnies on-site will be provided by Hippity Hop Parties. Cost is free with general admission.
Taradiddle Travels

Tarradiddle Travels explores four simple folk tales from four different countries. The stories include classics like “Caps for Sale” (a Sudanese story) and less familiar stories like “Mouse Marriage” (from Japan). Three actors tell the tales in a playful storytelling style that makes clever use of colorful prop pieces and involves audience interaction. Charlotte City Ballet’s Spring Performance

Charlotte City Ballet’s annual spring performance to benefit St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Charlotte City Ballet Company is a pre-professional ballet company whose mission is to provide quality performance training and performance opportunities for aspiring dancers and to enrich the Charlotte community through its public performances and outreach programs. The members of Charlotte City Ballet Company range from ages 10-18 and are students of the Ballet Program at the Sullivan Dance Centre. Ten percent of all ticket sales go to charity. After the 3:00pm performance there will be an opportunity to meet the ballerinas. Cost is $6 advance, $8 at the door.
