Hopefully you all read last week’s article, Lemonade Stand with a Twist. Well, Heather has so many creative ideas for reinventing the classic lemondade stand that we had to follow up with part two. So we welcome back Twist Entertaining to share their ideas for a “Lemonade Stand with a Sweet Twist.”
Cupcake or Sweet Treats Stand – Seriously, who doesn’t love a cupcake? Have the kids get busy in the kitchen, with the help of an adult and bake up their favorite recipes…from traditional flavors, to red velvet, or even rainbow (see our past Rainbow Cake tip for inspiration). This might take a few days, but think of delicious items that won’t melt in the heat. So, maybe stay clear of the frosting for this stand. Cookies, Brownies, Blondies, Bars, Rice Krispy Treats – have at it!
Twist Tip ~ Hide a special treat like a plastic flower or small racecar in about every 6th cupcake and bake it in the cake. (Pick something that could not be swallowed.) When a customer finds the hidden prize in their cupcake they get to pick another treat for FREE! Everyone loves surprises and loves to win. This Sweet Stand will so be a hit on the block.
Here are some recipe ideas for a Sweet Treat Stand

• Rice Krispy Treat Lollipops http://www.ricekrispies.com/

• If you really feel the need to have lemonade than make it all about lemons; lemon cupcakes, lemonade, Lemonheads, lemon lollipops, etc.
