Happy Easter

I have been spending some time thinking about what Easter means. It is so easy to get caught up in spring break, the Easter Bunny, vacation or no vacation that we forget what this holiday really means. Easter is one of the most wondrous events. It is a time of new beginnings, hopes and dreams. As we look around we can see that in the flowers blooming, the new birds chirping, leaves on the trees, new attitudes as the sun shines longer and families and neighbors enjoy time together out on the street or in the yards watching kids play.

On this Easter Sunday, I ask that you surround your family with new hopes and dreams. Celebrate what God has given us and use this time to look forward not back, instead of counting your blessings, celebrate them. From the Charlotte Smarty Pants family, have a wonderful Easter.
