Charlotte Irish Summer Festival

The second annual Charlotte Summer Irish Summer Festival begins with the pre-party Friday, August 8 at Connolly’s on 5th. With Irish dancers and the Dublin City Ramblers & Young Dubliners, the party will last long into the night.Then on Saturday, August 9, the Charlotte Summer Irish Summer Festival is taking to the streets on with a new location on Tryon between Trade and Fifth. The popularity of the free-admission event, celebrating all things Irish, called for more space to accommodate live entertainment, vendors and attractions such as the family-friendly Kids Corner. The second Annual Charlotte Irish Summer Festival benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Dog Days of Summer Pet Festival at Earth Fare

This quarter Earth Fare has partnered with the Humane Society of Charlotte. On August 9th join us at our SouthPark Charlotte store for a fun filled event for the whole family, including the dog. We will be grilling out from 12pm-2pm, with all proceeds going to The Humane Society. In addition, there will be pet activities, including animal massage, a dog days of summer photo opportunity, and a Fido Fashion show. There will be lots of prizes and give aways that your four legged friends will love!
