It is the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. For many of us moms this means the end of preschool for this school year. Next week will be the official start of summer for our little ones. Is it just me or did this year fly by? This also means our neighborhood pools are opening and many will be traveling. There are some activities around town, many are ongoing. Check outDiscovery Place and The Charlotte Museum of History for some of their great ongoing events.

Enjoy your weekend and over this Memorial Day holiday let’s remember to take some time to think of the soldier moms and dads who are serving overseas and can’t be with their families. As always, if you know of a Smarty Event you would like to share, please let us know or post in the comments.
