KinderMourn’s Hope Floats Duck Race
Sunday, April 20, 3:00-5:00pm
U.S. National Whitewater Center
The Hope Floats Duck Race provides financial support for KinderMourn’s services of providing grief counseling to parents who have lost a child or children who have lost a parent or loved one. This race ensures that no grieving family has to suffer the devastating loss of a loved one alone. We at CSP are partnering with Charlotte Swim Academy to host a Team Jen Bunich and we hope that you will support our efforts. On April 20, 2008, over 12,000 sunglass-wearing rubber ducks will be dropped into the churning rapids at the U.S. National Whitewater Center to race for fabulous prizes. The general community adopts these adorable ducks for $5 each, buying a chance to win one of many great prizes and most importantly, offering financial support for a worthy cause. The day is filled with music, children’s activities, and enjoyment of a beautiful spring day! Our children have loved the duck race, the moon bounces, the face-painting – the list goes on! Please join us in supporting KinderMourn by adopting a flock of ducks under Team Jen Bunich.
How do I adopt a duck or why not get a flock of ducks?
Click here at http://www.kindermourn.org/. Click on “Click me to adopt ducks”, then click on “All Teams” under “Top Teams” section in upper right corner, select Team Name “Jen Bunich.” If you have any problems, call Duck Central at 704-376-2580.
Cost: Individual duck ($5) Quack Pack (6 ducks for $25) Flock of Ducks (12 ducks for $50) Thank you so much for your support.
Go Team Jen Bunich!
