Singing Bears in Founders Hall for the Holidays
The bears are back! Last holiday season Claire was 17 months old (see her in red dress in photo) and I took her downtown to see the “Singing Bears” in Founders hall (BofA building). She was a bit young but still LOVED it! If you have not been, it’s a whole orchestra of life size bears that sing and play music. It’s just adorable and best of all, it’s FREE. They start today (Nov 28th) and run through Dec 28th. If I recall, the performance runs about 30 minutes but you can come and go as you please.
Performance times are:
Monday – Friday, 10 and 11 a.m.; noon; 1, 2, 5 and 6 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday, hourly from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m
Parking is available in the Bank of America Corporate Center parking garage off College Street between Trade and Fifth streets. Due to construction, the College Street entrance to the garage is closed (what a pain). You can enter the garage from Trade and Fifth streets. Parking is also available at Seventh Street Station. Not familiar with downtown streets? Here’s a map, Founders hall is #1 on the map.
Also of note: ChristmasVille in Rock Hill starts tomorrow (11/29) thru Dec 2nd. I have never been but it looks really fun. Check out their website.
Have you been to see the Bears or to the Rock Hill festival? Let us know what you think!
