Alright, so Black Friday is nearly upon us. But I imagine if you are reading this website that you have children, so the idea of setting out at midnight or even 5am to go brave ridiculous Charlotte crowds (in stores that are not fun to shop in the first place) when you could be getting some coveted sleep – is the last thing in your mind! But, if this is something that DOES appeal to you, I have some info on store and mall hours below. Want to see the store circulars before they arrive in your Thursday newspaper? This website has scans of the circulars for Black Friday and this website does more of listings. But for the sane ones that just want to sleep (like me), you can still shop Black Friday from the comfort of you own home. Many online deals are fabulous as well and there are no cranky salespeople. Oh, and now there is also Cyber Monday (which is the Monday after Black Friday), the ceremonial kick-off of the holiday online shopping season. There are even websites that catalog all the Cyber Monday deals. Wow.
–Southpark Mall open at 5:00am both Friday and Saturday.
—Concord Mills opens at midnight Friday morning (really that is Thursday night!), doors open 30 minutes earlier. They will have lots of events and prizes
—Carolina Place Mall opens at 1am and has special events and deals
–Sam’s Club opens at 5am and has lots of deals
–Kohl’s opens at 4am. See specials.
–Target opens at 6am
–Toys R us opens at 5am
