Doing more and sometimes doing less can be causing our children more anxiety than ever before. Experts point to less family time, less exercise and less sleep as potential causes of childhood anxiety, as well as more junk food, more over-scheduling and more social demands from digital media outlets Facebook and Twitter. “Pink or blue?” That was the only question on their minds when parents-to-be Casey and Charles Clark visited her OB/GYN office for a routine ultrasound. They were thrilled to learn they were having a boy—but weren’t ready for the results that would forever change their lives.A rare condition
The technician couldn’t see all four chambers of their baby’s heart. “Little did we know that the excitement would quickly turn into days of anticipation, waiting to find out what was wrong with Murphy,” says Charles. A fetal echocardiogram at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute helped confirm that Murphy had a rare congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). Quick Snack Ideas: 200 Calories or Less!

Two years ago I lost 25 lbs. with Weight Watchers. I’m a big fan of Weight Watchers, but that’s a discussion for another day. By changing my diet and increasing my exercise routine (running 12-16 miles a week) I have been able to keep the weight off (plus or minus a few pounds.) But no matter what I lost, I just couldn’t lose the bulge around my waistline. It’s enough to drive a girl crazy. That is when I discovered Cool Sculpting.Cool Sculpting is a non-invasive procedure that freezes the fat in your abdomen and flanks; both of which I needed help with since diet and exercise weren’t doing the trick. Once crystallized, the fat cells die and are naturally eliminated from your body.
