As a curly haired girl, Regina von Schack of NYC always kept an eye out for comfortable, chic headbands to help with those unruly hair days, or to keep the beach breeze from creating a wispy mess! As a designer/stylist she figured it wouldn’t hurt to try making a few bands herself

Her line began after years of creating decorative party headbands for birthday girls and brides-to-be. Her younger sister, who at the time was a senior at Marymount School of NY, started wearing her headbands to class and people began asking her where she got them. Mimi’s response: “Gina Made It”!

Today we are featuring fab accessories for the new Smarty Mamas or Smarty-Mamas-To-Be. Smarties meet Chewbeads, nontoxic jewelry for moms and safe for babies to tug, touch and chew.
