Smarties, we’re super excited to announce that the Smarty Party will be in the Belk Carolinas’ Carrousel Parade on Thanksgiving Day! The Smarty Party will be joined by her sister vehicle, The Macaroni Mobile, both sponsored by our friends at Bob Mayberry Hyundai in Monroe.

The Belk Carolinas’ Carrousel Parade, a tradition since 1947, is one of the largest get-togethers of Carolinians that takes place during the year. The parade boasts participation from both Carolinas and touches approximately half a million people from the 22-county metro area. In 2008, TravelMuse.com recognized it as the fourth largest Thanksgiving Parade in the United States.

Happy Wednesday Smarties! This weekend has Tree Lightings, a parade, Zootastic lights and it is the last weekend of the Southern Christmas Show. If you are int he mood for Turkey, there is Turkey Talk, Harvest Day and GobbleFest. The only problem is choosing. Get out and Enjoy!

An annual event that includes entertainment for the entire family. A trackless train, musical guests and Santa. After the Tree Lighting, stay for a screening of Arthur Christmas. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Little Explorers Series: Camouflage

Happy Wednesday Smarties! As we wake up the morning after the election and breathe a sigh of relief that the robocalls will stop and the pamphlets in the mailbox will go away, we can look forward to the weekend. And there is a lot to look forward to! The Symphony Lollipops series is back, The Southern Christmas Show is here, Sheepdogs are showing off at the lake and there is a fashion show at a bowling alley! How to decide, how to decide!? Just get out and enjoy!
