Feel the Roar Charlotte! For two weeks only, November 19th – November 28th, join us for a Dinosaur Encounter at Ballantyne’s Backyard. It’s an epic dinosaur attraction – for every dinosaur enthusiast! The Jurassic Encounter is proudly sponsored by Northwood Office.
Bring the whole family and enjoy this prehistoric experience. Prepare to walk through and enjoy an up-close and personal encounter with over 50 Life-Size animatronic and static dinosaurs and bones. Meet our large and in charge T-Rex, our mighty Triceratops and her young, plus dozens of other species. This is an outdoor event with some features being tented. Enhance your tour with a Free Educational and Interactive App so you can learn more about dinosaurs. Enjoy the DINO Village that includes shopping for toys and souvenirs, free photo ops, digging for bones, yard games, baby dinos, food and so much more!
Join us on Sunday, November 21st from 2pm-5pm for a Dino Dance Party with DJ Rex and the Dino-Mite Dancers…enjoy non-stop music and a dancing party for the whole family. Free Dino Action Figures to all of those 12 and under in a dinosaur costume.
Join us on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th for a Dino Costume Party from 2pm-6pm. Dino fans of all sizes, ages and species, come dressed as your favorite dinosaur. Free Dino Action Figures to all of those 12 and under in a dinosaur costume. Costume Contest from 4pm-6pm
It’s best to purchase tickets in advance at, DinosAt11.com, to guarantee your timeslot. The entries are timed in order to have a safe environment and avoid crowding. Tickets are $12 per person in advance and $16 on-site. Anyone 2 years and older need a ticket. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. There will be plenty of Free Parking.
