The Mid-Century Modern Home Tour is back. Join us as we tour Charlotte’s amazing collection of homes designed in this architectural style.
Mid-Century modern is an architectural, interior, product and graphic design that generally describes mid-20th century developments in modern design, architecture and urban development from roughly 1933 to 1965.
As Bradley Quinn in his monograph of Mid-century design illustrates, “Mid-century homes were inhabited by a new generation of Americans, who altered their expectations of the home as they grew to appreciate novel types of living spaces and the landscapes surrounding them.”
