We’ve asked our Smarty Moms and Dads every Saturday for over FOUR years what are their favorite things to do around the QC. Will Johnny go back to day camp, will Susie take swim lessons, where are we going on vacation, and how will I make sure the kids aren’t bored this summer? At Camp Harrison we have been busy planning a productive, fun, adventure filled summer since the last kid went home last August 6th.

If you are a mom and you live in the greater Charlotte area, then more than likely, you are an avid Chick-fil-A fan. Whether it’s meeting at CFA for a playdate, or picking up a platter of nuggets for your soccer party, or anywhere in between, we Smarty Mamas love us some Chick-fil-A!

I was recently invited to visit the Chick-fil-A store on South Boulevard, every square inch of it. What struck me most is the amount of fresh ingredients that they put into every item on the menu. Even better, CFA has introduced a new healthier option to their menu, the grilled chicken nuggets, now offered in their Kids Meals or by themselves. In addition, they have added Buddy Fruits to the Kids Meal menu to continue the healthy trend.

And we’d LOVE your pink & green vote! You know CSP loves us some BOB! For the past three years, we have won at least one BOB each year, and we’d love to continue the trend!

Charlotte Magazine’s BOB (Best Of the Best) Awards are divided into four categories and are open for voting for two weeks at a time. We qualify for two categories: Arts & Entertainment and Services & Family.

Who’s ready for some sunshine, Smarties?! Our friends at Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates (CEENTA) want to give one lucky Smarty some new fab designer sunglasses and a pair of frames for your child. Thank you very much, CEENTA!

NBC’s show ‘America’s Got Talent’ is currently casting for its seventh season and will be hosting open-call and showcase auditions in Charlotte February 2 and 3, 2012. We are excited about the opportunity to see fresh and undiscovered talent from your area.
