Put on your super-hero cape and grab your galoshes because it’s time to save the world at The Magic House! From a farmer’s market to a recycling center, this exhibit teaches kids how to live green! In the house, kids learn what they can do in their own homes to help the environment. They’ll also get a chance to sit in an energy efficient car. In the research lab kids get to wear lab coats and pretend they are scientists. Parents love the “Re-Use Charity Shop”…Because they’ll find a lot of familiar toys! It’s an exhibit teaching an important message and giving kids & parents a super way to have fun! Ages 3-11.

Staff will be providing a narrated tour of the park and hayride shuttle service between the Nature Center, Medium shelter, and Waterfront. Guests are encouraged to jump on and off at any stop to further enjoy the preserve. Free adventure backpacks, loaner cameras, and fishing equipment are available at the nature center to make the most of your trip around the park (Bait and Fishing licenses are available for a small fee). We LOVE nothing more than to support our ‘lil Smarty ballerinas and we send out a big congratulations to all of the dancers at the Harris YMCA! Dance times are below for the performances this weekend. Make a special night out with your little ones by grabbing dinner and then watching the Company Show on Saturday at 8p. Such a fun tradition and it will give your girls something to look forward to!
