Our Smarty friends at Ella B. Candles are back at it! Just when we all got the news that most Charlotte area schools are doing some sort of remote learning, the Ella B. team knew they had to take action and help us relax somehow. Remote learning, social distancing and masks are here to stay for the indefinite future, which adds to everyone’s anxiety. The Ella B. Signature Candle Collection was born to help ease our stress and bring some joy into our homes and workspace.
Our friends at Ella B. Candles have been busy little bees pouring thousands and thousands of hand-poured soy candles with love at “The Hive” here in Charlotte for nearly a decade. It all started with their super popular Neighborhood Candle Collection, sold in boutiques and shops all over the QC. They also have a custom candle program where you can design your own personalized or branded candle — perfect for event favors or corporate gifts. We actually order our Smarty Candle every holiday season via Ella B. and our partners love it, often so much that they order their own custom fragrance for their own corporate gifts. This year is different and the Ella B. team knew it. With the new Signature Collection, the Ella B. team decided to bring the custom fragrance experience home.
Featuring 30 vibrant new fragrances available as an 11oz candle and a 4oz room and linen spray, the Signature Collection invites you to find a ‘signature scent’ to create a memorable ambience within your home or office.

Find Your Fragrance:
The 30 Signature Collection scents are sorted into 6 distinct Fragrance Families: Blush, Botanical, Citrine, Ember, Gourmand and Midnight. To find your Fragrance Family, you take their really fun quiz.
Once you’ve matched with a Fragrance Family, it’s time to start sniffing! Each family contains 5 unique fragrances.
Where to Purchase:
You can find the entire collection at one of our all-time favorite stores, Cotswold Marketplace (with your mask of course). You can immediately scan a QR code there and start your Fragrance Family Quiz. You can also smell every one of the 30 scents right there. I did and had so much fun – such a great distraction during my long, boring quarantine days☺ It was no surprise to me that I landed on my custom Smarty scent after taking the quiz (I love the Blush family, all things pink of course!). I also picked up No. 47 (Wildflower and Wisteria) from the Botanical family for summer. When I burn through these, which I will since I light a candle every single day while working, I will pick up No. 33 (Cedar, English Pear and Ginger) and No. 43 (Heliotrope, Hemlock and Suede) for the fall season.
The Blush Fragrance Family includes: No. 44 (Pink Pepper, Linen and Sandalwood), No. 45 (Rose de Mai, White Cedar and Musk), No. 49 (Oakmoss, Moon Flower and Sweet Mint), No. 55 (Champagne, Sugar Dust and Crème de Cassis), and No. 62 (Black Coconut and Cloudberry).
